1. Swollen Lymph Nodes We have lymph nodes all over our body, however the ones on the neck are important to note.They become highly conspicuous and can't go unnoticed. This is one of the early signs of exposure or stage of infection of HIV. These nodes swell in order to produce more white blood cell to fight infection of HIV/AIDS.Any swollen lymph node that does not subside within 3-4 weeks should raise an alarm and it becomes necessary to get it evaluated thoroughly for its cause.
2. Persistent or Continuous Infections. HIV/AIDS lowers your level of immunity. You become more prone to opportunistic infections. People that are infected will ever be seeking treatment until they go to hospital get tested and start taking drugs to help fight the infection before it progresses fast. Therefore, be weary of these people. some complications that may arise are: pneumonia and most respiratory infections e.g TB.
3.Sweating at Night and fever that is apparent. An infected individual experiences long periods of fever that is low-grade. They usually let it pass as if it's a normal fever and don't seek medication as it is not that severe.
